Personal security check (PSC)
The personal security check (PSC) is a preventive measure to safeguard Switzerland's internal and external security.
The purpose of the personal security check (PSC) is to recognise and prevent the risk of intentional or negligent impairment of essential security interests by a specific person.
The PSP DDPS specialist unit
The Specialist Unit for Personal Security Checks in the DDPS is part of the State Secretariat for Security Policy (SEPOS). It carries out personal security checks in cooperation with the federal and cantonal security authorities. Its main location is in Bern, but it is also represented in all six army recruitment centres.
