The Checklist: Issuing Class B Certificates now contains the most important points regarding the user agreement and terms of use for advanced Class B certificates. This helps you, as an LRAO, to competently instruct users about their rights and obligations when issuing smartcards with Class B certificates.

You will now find the following LRAO Class A documents exclusively in the protected area for LRA officers:- Application for authorization to issue authority certificates
- Application LRA-Officer
- Confirmation of receipt of LRA-Officer certificate
- User agreement and terms of use for LRA officers
- Guidelines for the LRAO certificate
New look and feel for FDF, BIT and PKI homepage
From Thursday, August 8, 2024, the FDF, BIT and PKI homepage will be available to you with a new look and feel. The reason for this is that the Federal Chancellery's standard web service is introducing a nationwide, uniform content management system (CMS).What can I use the SafeNet Authentication Client (SAC) for?
- Under «Advanced View» (symbol: cogwheel) you will find all the details about your smartcard and the certificate.
- You can also change your valid PIN (Change Token PIN) and
- If you work with several smartcards, you can give each one a label (Rename Token).
Prerequisite for the issue of class B certificates:
- Order via signed mail from HR/line
- Order via ticketing system
- Request ‹Class B: Request for personal certificates of the Swiss Government PKI Class B› completed and signed by the user
Fragmented "Gemalto ID Prime 830 Rev A"
We continue to receive information about defective "Gemalto ID Prime 830 Rev A" smartcards. To enable us to assess the extent of the affected cards, we are still dependent on you sending us the fragmented and therefore defective smartcards. Please revoke the certificates in advance.RENEWAL

Class B: Application LRA-Officer
- LRA-Officer application
- You no longer need an additional signature to renew LRAO authorisations.
- The application must be saved locally and opened with Adobe Acrobat Reader.
