Order smart cards - class b

Here you will find information for ordering smartcards - class b.

Please note that the ordering process is different for federal offices and organisations close to the federal government.

Current smartcard type: Gemalto ID Prime 930 FIPS 140-Level 3 with Armasuisse profile.
A006 - Smartcard

Step 1
As a federal office, you order the desired number of smartcards from the Federal Office for Buildings and Logistics (BBL). The BBL will then send these directly to the Swiss Government PKI.

Step 2
In order for these smartcards to be prestaged by the Swiss Government PKI, we need a corresponding Remedy MAC from you (Order placement).
Step 1
As a near-federal organisation, you order the smartcards from the official manufacturer defined by Armasuisse (by means of a call for tenders). The smartcards can be ordered with an individual layout. The address of the manufacturer can be obtained from the Swiss Government PKI.

You can order small quantities (max. 150 units), blank WITHOUT RFID, as a federal office or organisation close to the federal government directly from the Swiss Government PKI using a Remedy MAC (Order placement).
