Standards and rules

• Signature applications

  The DesktopSigner signature application is approved/recommended by the Swiss Government PKI. This is installed as standard on your FOITT federal workstation client.

• Signature server

  Within the federal administration, the private key of the qualified personal certificate and the regulated authority certificate is stored on an SG-PKI server, a so-called hardware security module (HSM). No additional hardware is required.
