Two PKI teams – now ONE joint strength
Up to now, the Swiss Government PKI and the CPK (CC PKI FUB) were available to you for all PKI matters. From January 1, 2026, we will merge these into one PKI. For you, this means:
- A central point of contact for all PKI matters.
- More efficient processing of your requests (tickets).
- Uniformed standards.
The familiar websites of Swiss Government PKI and the Competence Centre Public Key Infrastructure (CPK) are still available to you. A joint website is currently under development.
Swiss Government PKI
Data and information are valuable – they must therefore be protected. There can be value in ensuring that the authenticity of the data is guaranteed and verifiable, or that it is protected from being accessed (confidentiality). The FOITT's public key infrastructure (Swiss Government PKI) offers the basic technology for this. The Swiss Government PKI provides these services to Swiss authorities and organisations with close links to the federal government.
