Class B

Class B personal certificates can be used for authentication, encrypting (encoding) and signing data and are intended for use with increased security requirements. Class B certificates must be stored on a “hard crypto token” (e.g. smart card or USB token) that conforms to the A006 standard of the DTI sector. The market service corresponds to the requirements of the 2-factor authentication of the federal government.
