Information on the use of the «wireless internet access»

The Federal Office of Information Technology, Systems and Telecommunication (FOITT) provides the Public Wireless LAN service on behalf of the respective federal agency. The use of this service is linked to the licence agreement of the respective provider (federal agency).

The FOITT explicitly points out that no special protective measures are taken concerning the data flow and protection of client systems (encryption, virus protection or personal firewall).

You can register for a temporary user account. You need an authorisation code for this. Further information is available from your contact person in the Federal Administration.
