Dr. Giovanni Conti is the current Director of the Federal Office of Information Technology (FOITT). Before joining the FOITT, Giovanni Conti was a member of Swisscom management from 1999 to 2011, and most recently Head of Governance in the company's Networks & Informatics division.

From 1993 to 1999, Giovanni Conti held various managerial positions at SGS Société Générale de Surveillance S.A. Prior to that, he worked at AT&T Bell Laboratories in the United States and at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne as a post-doctoral research fellow and lecturer.

Giovanni Conti was born in 1963 and lives near Fribourg.
